We are excited to share that MicroSec has received a Special Mention in the prestigious PIER71 Smart Port Challenge! This recognition is a testament to our innovative approach to cybersecurity within the maritime industry.
Out of 150 applications from 30 countries, 18 finalists were selected, and MicroSec was honored with a Special Mention by the judging panel. The panel included industry leaders such as Mr. Koh Yong Ping, Chief Executive of Bureau Veritas Marine and Offshore, Professor Chai Kah Hin from NUS, and Mr. Ng Yi Han, Director (Innovation, Technology and Talent Development) of MPA.
The judges evaluated the finalists based on several criteria, including the quality of innovation, business model, market potential, industry relevance, and the team’s capability in tech development and design skills. MicroSec’s recognition in this competitive field highlights our strong commitment to pushing the boundaries of maritime cybersecurity and our potential to make a significant impact on the industry.
